-->On the road north from Los Escullos, we passed through a huge fertile plain where tomatoes are grown on an industrial scale.
The town of Campohermosa is full of tomato packing/processing factories manned by mostly immigrant labour. Little shanty town houses mix with shops with arabic signs.
It all seems a million miles away from the Parque Natural we have just visited and makes you question the true price of cheap tomatoes we demand all the year round.
